Mill’s Tavern, a popular restaurant, and bar in Attleboro, MA, has announced that it will host a Frozen-themed wedding for a local couple who were left disappointed by the Christmas Festival Lights at the La Salette Shrine.
The couple, who wished to remain anonymous, had planned to propose to each other under the dazzling display of more than 400,000 lights, which is a beloved annual tradition in the town. However, they were shocked to find out that the lights had been turned off early due to a power outage caused by a rogue squirrel.
The couple contacted Mill’s Tavern, which had recently hosted a successful Disney’s Frozen Jr. show, and asked if they could have their wedding there instead. The owner of the restaurant, who is a huge fan of the movie, agreed to transform the venue into a winter wonderland, complete with snowflakes, ice sculptures, and a giant Olaf cake.
The wedding will take place on Valentine’s Day, and the guests will be treated to a special menu of tacos, margaritas, and burgundian dishes. The couple said they are thrilled to have their dream wedding come true, and thanked Mill’s Tavern for their generosity and creativity.
“We are so grateful to Mill’s Tavern for saving our special day,” the bride-to-be said. “We can’t wait to let it go and have a blast with our friends and family.”
The groom-to-be added, “We love Frozen, and we love each other. This is the perfect way to celebrate our love and our sense of humor. We hope everyone will join us in singing along to the songs and having fun.”
Mill’s Tavern said they are honored to host the wedding, and hope to attract more customers with their themed events. They also said they are planning to offer a tax seminar and a margarita demonstration in the near future.
“We are always looking for ways to spice up our events and make our customers happy,” the owner said. “We are proud to be part of this community and to support local businesses and causes. We hope everyone will come and enjoy our food and drinks, and have a good time.”
